Arthur Vance McQuiston, 76, of Crystal River, FL, died Thursday, December 15, 1960, at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness, FL, after a month's illness. He was owner of Mac's Sports Shop in Meadville for 17 years until he retired and moved to Florida a few months ago.
He was born at Adamsville, November 12, 1884, a son of C. W. and Nancy Smock McQusiton.
Mr. McQuiston was a member of the Masonic Lodge at Jamestown, the Consistory at New Castle and Zem Zem Temple of the Shrine at Erie.
He is survived by his widow, Sarah; two daughters, Miss Marie McQuiston of Greenville and Mrs. Louise Carroll of Closter, NJ; a son, John A. of Fair Lawn, NJ; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Ernest Gigone and Mrs. Robert Smith, both of Meadville; a brother, Charles Vertnor McQuiston of Harbor Creek and four grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
