Arvella D. Miller

Arvella D. Miller, 76, of Conneaut Lake, died Monday, October 5, 1998 at Saint Vincent Health Center, Erie, following a sudden illness.

She was born October 23, 1921 in Meadville, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Bauer Miller.

Miss Miller worked as a sales clerk for 25 years at the former Weldon's of Meadville clothing store.  She previously worked for 3 years at the W. T. Grant Co. and for 5 years at Westinghouse.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and its loyal daughters women's group.  She was a former Sunday School teacher.

Survivors include a brother, Howard E. Miller of Conneaut Lake; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by five sisters, Edna Simmons, Clara Hogue, Marie Schultz, LaVerna Maloney and Amelia Gross; and six brothers, John A., Albert E., Elmer L., Carl W., Ralph H. and Harry A. Miller.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
