Audrey M. Vakovich

Audrey M. Vukovich, 75, of Blooming Valley, died at home Friday, June 26, 2015.

She was born in Meadville November 4, 1939 a daughter of Wendell and Mildred Williams Nageotte.  She married George J. Vukovich June 24, 1959 and he survives.

She was a hard worker and worked at several places over the years, including the G.C. Murphy Co., Wolff’s Hardware and Wesbury United Methodist Community.  She also worked the voting location at Blooming Valley Fire Hall for many years.  She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, going to garage sales and camping.  She absolutely loved family gatherings, always feeling the more the better, and always made everyone feel welcome.  She was also an avid Lebron James fan and enjoyed watching him play for both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat.

Survivors, in addition to her husband George of 56 years, include: two daughters, Vicki Bradley of Franklin and Lauri Woge of Blooming Valley; a son, Joe Vukovich of Meadville; six grandchildren, Timothy Manross, Jr., Todd Manross and his fiancée Randi Jones, Kristy Hester and her husband Tez, Jessica Vukovich and her companion Mike Yenny, Nicole Shuwerk and her husband Dave and Ashley Steele; six great grandchildren, Hayley, Jayla, Layla, Erin, Brandon and Logan; two brothers, Richard Nageotte of Painesville, OH and Frederick Nageotte and his wife Diane of Meadville; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Francie Yocabet of Cleveland, OH and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Traci A. Vukovich Meece and a sister, Lois Nageotte.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.  The funeral service will follow at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Blooming Valley Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Crawford County, 464 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
