Austa L. Wolff

December 29, 1882 — May 1, 1964

Mrs. Austa L. Wolff, 81, of Meadville, widow of August R. Wolff, founder of the A. R. Wolff & Son Hardware Store on Market Street, died Friday, May 1, 1964, at City Hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Wolff was born in Woodcock Township, December 29, 1882, a daughter of Morgan and Ella Tinney Ford.  She was married March 26, 1902.  She was a member of First Baptist Church and its Lydia Circle, the Senior Citizen's Assn. and Meadville Grange.

Surviving are two sons, Paul F. and August R. (Jim), both of Meadville; a daughter, Mrs. Charles C. (Margaret) Hunter of Meadville; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
