Autumn R. Baker, 88, of Wesbury, Meadville, died Tuesday, December 19, 2000.
Born in Edinboro October 11, 1912, she was a daughter of Pearley C. and Maude Ora Smith Harned. She married Carl Russell (Rusty) Baker June 6, 1935. He preceded her in death June 4, 1953.
She was a 1930 graduate of Conneaut Lake High School and a 1933 graduate of Meadville Commercial College. A homemaker, she also worked at Albro Packing Co. of Springboro in the food-processing department for 20 years.
She was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include four sons, Thomas H. Baker, Sr. (Terry) of Meadville, Carl R. Baker, Jr. of Santa Monica, CA, Gary L. Baker, Sr. (Ellen) of Meadville) and Leslie C. Baker (Janie) of Tacoma, WA; eleven grandchildren, ConnieBlumenstein, Thomas Baker, Jr, Suzanne Miller, Holly Baker, Bucky Snyder, Gary Baker, Jr., Michael Mumford, Jeremy (Rusty) Baker, Jason Baker, Katie Baker, and Krista Baker; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Opal Harned and LeVieve (Bebe) Krause, both of Meadville; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Snyder Homer; a sister, Geraldine Muir; and four brothers, Noble, Alda, Sam, and Maurice Harned.
Service were held at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home with Terry Clark, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating.
Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.
