Barbara A. Shuffstall

Barbara A. Shuffstall, 77, of Meadville, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born January 6, 1938 in Franklin, a daughter of Paul and Miriam Keil Steele.  She married Dearald W. Shuffstall August 19, 1967 and he survives.

Barbara was a 1956 graduate of Franklin High School.  A homemaker, she enjoyed traveling and her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Dearald, include two sons, Mark Watson of Westlake Village, CA and Bud Shuffstall of Meadville; five stepchildren, Brenda Graham and her husband Ronald of Franklin, Bobbie Jo Blair and her husband David of Grove City, Charles (Chuck) Shuffstall and his wife Amy of Butler, Stacie Thompson and her husband Denny of Stoneboro, and Scott Shuffstall and his wife Shari of Harrisville; Nineteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Bill Steele and his wife Karen of Franklin; and two nieces and one nephew.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville where the funeral and committal service will follow at 4:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
