Barbara Ann Rader, 75, of Conneaut Lake, died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at White Cliff Nursing Home, Greenville.
She was born October 4, 1935 in Geneva, a daughter of Roy and Dorothy McMillen Ferrin. She married Howard Ronald Rader July 24, 1954 and he preceded her in death March 10, 1999.
Barbara was a 1953 graduate of the former Pymatuning Joint High School, Jamestown and worked at Tamarack Packaging Company, Meadville for 15 years, retiring in 1995 as office manager. She previously performed secretarial work in Greenville and Florida.
A member of the Atlantic Congregational Church, she was the organist for 35 years and was a member of its women's association. She enjoyed music, reading, camping in her younger years, and especially spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald Rader of Conneaut Lake and Tony Rader of West Virginia; four grandchildren, Emily, Owen, Gina, and Anthony; and great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake.
The funeral and committal service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Atlantic Congregational Church, 3468 Atlantic Lake Rd., Atlantic with the Rev. Jeff Sterling, church Pastor, and assisted by the Rev. William Rogers, officiating.
Interment will be in Rocky Glen Cemetery.
