Barbara E. Brown

October 18, 1926 — November 15, 2005

Barbara E. Brown, 79,  a longtime resident of Beverly Health Care – Meadville died there Tuesday, November 15, 2005.

She was born in McRoberts, KY October 18, 1926 a daughter of Charles A. and Stella P. Smith Hall.  She had been married to Hermon G. Brown.

She attended St. Brigid, St. Agatha and St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Churches, she enjoyed bowling and she was a beautiful seamstress.

Survivors, include: four daughters, Cynthia M. Jannot of Erie, her son Andrew Jannot and daughter Dorian Gerlick and her three children, Desire, Andrew and Paige; 2nd daughter, Paula J. Schaef and her husband Dan of Conneaut Lake and their children, Todd Schaef, Brett Schaef and Candice Schaef and her children Reece and Kailene; 3rd daughter, Beth M. Marconi and her husband Jeff of Fort Myers, FL and their children, Paul Corner and Lisa Jakubuwski and her son Zachary and 4th daughter, Constance F. Licthinger of Erie and her children, David Licthinger, Matthew Licthinger, Christine Licthinger and John Licthinger; one sister, Madelaine Gibbs of Boynton Beach, FL; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Sindlinger.

A funeral service will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville with Rev. Mark Hoffman, Pastor of St. Mary of Grace Roman Catholic Church, officiating.

Following cremation, burial will be in St. Agatha Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Beverly Health Care – Meadville for the wonderful care extended to their mother and asks that memorials be made to the Activity Dept. at Beverly Health Care, 14714 Park Ave. Ext., Meadville, PA 16335.
