Barbara J. Glaubach, 56, of Waterville, ME for the past six years and a former Meadville, PA resident, died Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at Maine General Medical Center.
She was born November 6, 1946 in Cleveland, OH a daughter of John P. and Esther Hoehn Boyd. She married John D. Glaubach July 31, 1971 and he preceded her in death November 17, 1986.
While living in Meadville she worked at the former First National Bank (predecessor of PNC) and the former Pennbank. After moving to Maine she worked as an office accountant at the Waterville Wal-Mart store for 3 years.
She was a 1965 graduate of Newbury, OH public schools and she enjoyed reading and especially enjoyed being with her granddaughters.
Survivors, include a daughter, Paula S. Glaubach of Waterville, ME; a son, David K. Glaubach of Wilmington, NC; granddaughters, Madeline Rang and Hannah Rang; her parents, John and Esther Boyd of Newbury, OH; a sister, Judy Horner and her husband Ivan of Linesville; five brothers, John A. Boyd of Russellville, KY, P. Timothy Boyd and his wife Lynn of Chesterland, OH, C. Terry Boyd and his wife Alicia of Concord, CA, Gary B. Boyd of Newbury, OH, and Dennis E. Boyd and his wife Kelly of Newbury, OH; an aunt and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be Monday from 7-9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335.
The funeral service will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Timothy Solomon, Pastor of Emmanuel United Church of Christ, officiating.
Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery, Meadville.
