Barbara J. Young

Barbara J. Young, 89, a resident of Rolling Fields, passed away there Sunday, July 10, 2022.

She was born May 13, 1933 in Linesville, a daughter of Stanley and Catherine Tuttle Davis.  She married Norris R. Young September 1, 1956 and he preceded her in death May 17, 2011.

Barbara was a graduate of Linesville High School.  A homemaker, she started the Bits and Spurs 4-H Club in Linesville.

She was a member of Linesville United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed playing bingo, reading, especially her Bible, and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include five children, Nancy Keas (Gerry) of Conneaut Lake, Mark Young (Cheryl) of Meadville, Sharon Benavides (George) of Odessa, TX, Lisa Fizer of Meadville, and Steven Young of Greensburg; a sister, Charlotte Macleod (Dudley) of Meadville; a brother, Leslie (Bill) Williams (Phyllis) of Phoenix, AZ; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Heald and Helen Cashion.

Services are private.
