Barbara Joan Kustes

B. Joan Free Kustes, 75, of Conneaut Lake, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, December 04, 2014 at Wesbury United Methodist Community. She was born August 2, 1939 in Geneva a daughter of Joseph H. and Ann Yurisic Free. She was a graduate of Saegertown High School, attended Edinboro University and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. She was a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a current member of Living Waters Church. She worked for the Erie-Lackawanna, Conrail and Norfolk Southern Railroads in Pittsburgh and Atlanta, GA for over 30 years retiring in 2001 from the Freight Dept. She enjoyed reading her Bible daily, her flowers, photography, her 3 cats and loved going to dinner with her sisters, niece and great nephew and always had a smile on her face saying, "Ill pick up the tab." She is survived by two sisters, Patricia Walls and her husband Jack of Meadville and Betty Rissel of Greenville; five brothers, Joseph L. Free and his wife Sally of McDonald, PA, William L. Free and his wife Roxanne of Conneaut Lake, John H. Free of Conneaut Lake, Paul T. Free and his wife Doris of Conneaut Lake and Douglas J. Free of Espyville and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles E. Free and David Richard Free and a nephew, Joseph Free. A family graveside service will be held in Bell Cemetery, French Creek Twp., Mercer Co. with the Rev. William Green, officiating. The family greatly appreciates the loving care she received from the staff at Wesbury. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert W.
