Barbara K. Kiesel

Barbara K. Kiesel, 79, of 10903 Springs Road, Meadville, died at home Friday, December 05, 2003.

She was born in Masury, OH September 6, 1924 a daughter of Paul and Goldie Yokopec Katulich.  She married Leslie L. Kiesel August 9, 1948 and he survives.

She retired from Avtex as a production worker in the mid-1980’s and she enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles.

Survivors, in addition to her husband of 55 years, include: two sons, Bob Kiesel of Guys Mills and Ed Ashbaugh and his wife Debbie of Saegertown; one step-son, Rick Kiesel of Manassas, VA; two step-daughters, Elizabeth Geist and her husband Jim of Meadville and Jeannette Neff of Meadville; two sisters, Annie Albaugh and her husband Carl of Meadville and Mary Davison of Erie; six grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held Monday at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville with Rev. David Acker, friend of the family, officiating.

Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial be made to Hospice of Crawford County, 448 Pine Street, Meadville, PA 16335.
