Barbara Lou Waid

Barbara Lou Waid, 61, of 815 Rockledge Drive, Titusville, died unexpectedly Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Titusville Area Hospital.

She was born in Meadville March 8, 1946, a daughter of the late Leland V. and Lucille Bertram Waid.

Barbara had been a resident at Polk Center, Polk, PA, from 1947 to 2002 when she was transferred to a group home in Titusville where she has resided since that time.

She was baptized at Stone United Methodist Church.

Survivors, in addition to her loving, care-givers of the Titusville unit of Erie Homes for Children and Adults, include one brother, Robert W. Waid and his wife Janet of Conneaut Lake; and 3 nephews, Robert S. Waid of Meadville, Todd A. Waid and his wife Wendi and their children Ava and Charlie of Meadville; and Ryan P. Waid and his wife Kathleen and their children Maya and Macy of Harrisonburg, VA; and many cousins.

A calling hour will be Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc. 581 Chestnut St., Meadville where the funeral and committal service will follow at 11:00 A.M. with the  Rev. John Spahr, Pastor of Stone United Methodist Church officiating.

Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery.
