Mrs. Beatrice Peters, 81, a former Greenville resident and resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since July 1984, died Wednesday, April 2, 1986, at Wesbury after an illness of several months.
She was born in Randolph, NY, June 29, 1904, a daughter of Robert Charles and Letty Brezee Galbraith. She married Ned E. Peters, who preceded her in death in 1949.
Employed for several years as a bookkeeper and sales clerk at Stall's Refrigeration in Greenville, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Gleaner Sunday School Class of Greenville. She was also a member of the hospital aux., American Legion Aux., Order of the Eastern Star and Thiel Woman's Club, all of Greenville.
Survivors include a brother, Paul L. Galbraith of Kernville, CA; one grandchild, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a stepson, Richard and a three brothers.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Shenango Valley Cemetery.
