Belle D. Smith

Miss Belle D. Smith, 79, of Meadville, died Monday, April 27, 1981, at City Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born at Townville on March 31, 1902, a daughter of George O. and Lena Warren Smith.

She was operator of Smith's Diner on Chestnut St. in the 1940's and early 1950's and was a 50-year member of Stone United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a niece and five nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kingsley Cemetery, Townville.
