Belle P. Enos

January 22, 1891 — June 6, 1979

Mrs. Belle P. Enos, 88, of the United Methodist Home and Nursing Hospital since February 1971, formerly of Wilkinsburg and Oil City, widow of George S. Enos, died at the nursing hospital unit Wednesday, June 6, 1979.

She was born in Punxsutawney January 22, 1891, a daughter of William B. and Elsie Jane Enterline Pantall.

She trained as a nurse at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh and worked at the Oil City Hopsital and had done private duty nursing.  She was a life member of the Triangle Club of Oil City.

Mrs. Enos is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Gaylord (Sally) Wentworth of Mount Hope and Mrs. Gerald (Rene) Deyoe of Oil City; a sister, Miss Blanche Pantall of Meadville; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, and a great-grandchild.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
