Benjamin James Blakeslee, 18, of Meadville, died Monday, May 29, 2000, as a result of an auto accident.
He was born in Meadville, January 5, 1982. His parents Carl Blakeslee and Kathy Sheakley Blakeslee Uglow survive.
He had worked at Warren Industries, S&S Computers and World of Mazes. He attended Meadville High School and recently obtained his high school diploma. He enjoyed soccer and was a soccer referee, basketball, volleyball, fishing, camping, the outdoors, singing and writing songs.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Kathy and Tim Uglow of Meaville; his father Carl Blakeslee and his wife Kathy of Cochranton; a sister, Heidi Renee Blakeslee of Meadville; a brother, Michael Timothy Uglow of Meadville; a maternal grandmother, Clara Sheakley of Meadville; paternal grandparents, Duane and Joyce Blakeslee of Meadville; step-grandparents, Ron and Eleanore Uglow of Harborcreek and unlces and cousins. He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, James E. Sheakley.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Huber Cemetery.
