Benjamin W. Waid

January 17, 1870 — January 1, 1753

Bennington W. Waid, 80, former Erie Railroad employee, died Friday evening at the Wayside Inn Odd Fellows Home at Grove City.

Born and raised in Randolph Township, Mr. Waid spent most of his life in Meadville, leaving here about a year and a half ago.  He was a member of Cussewago Lodge, IOOF and Grace Methodist Church and its Mens Bible Class.

His wife, the former Velma Clark, died ten years ago.

Surviving are two sons, Herbert W. Waid of Elmhurst, IL and Stephen D. Waid of Meadville; three grandchildren and a brother, Willard C. Waid of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Randolph Township.
