Benton C. Terrill

Benton C. (Ben) Terrill, 78, of Sadsbury Township, died Saturday, December 5, 1959 at City Hospital following a short illness. He was born November 12, 1881, at Guys Mills where he spent his early life. He was a son of Duane and Ianthia Britton Terrill. On February 5, 1907, he married Wave McFadden who survives. He was an employee at the Erie Railroad car shop for 23 years, operated a farm in Sadsbury Township. He was a member of Shermansville Methodist Church. Surviving in addition to his widow are a daughter, Mrs. Robert T. (Lena) Kightlinger of Meadville; a son, Carlyn C. of Yakima, WA; a brother, Charles H. Terrill of Youngstown, OH; a grandson, Richard Terrill of Seattle, WA and three great-grandchildren. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home. Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
