Berenice Lorena Titsler

Mrs. Berenice Lorena Titsler, 74, of Meadville, died Friday, January 10, 1969, at City Hospital.

She was born in Rome Township, Crawford County, October 25, 1894, a daughter of Ansro and Effie Buell Fish.  She was married to John Homer Titsler, former principle of Edinboro Schools, who died in 1959.

Mrs. Titsler taught in the Spartansburg School District in her early years.

She was a member of the Charity Circle of Grace United Methodist Church, a graduate of Edinboro State College, Houghton, NY in the field of music.  She also was a former member of the Edinboro Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are two nephews, Lloyd and Frank Brown, both of Meadville; two cousins, Mrs. Robert Morris and Willard Shreve, both of Corry; other nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Elizabeth Brown of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Spartansburg.
