Bernard 'Bucky' Harris

January 7, 1915 — January 1, 1753

Bernard "Bucky" Harris, 57, of Meadville, died Saturday evening at Spencer Hospital.

He was born in Ann Arbor, MI, January 7, 1915, son of the late George A. and Minnie Nelson Harris.  He was married to the former Millicent Stewart on October 5, 1946.

He was vice president of Weber-Harris Ford, Inc., Meadville.

Mr. Harris was a veteran of World War II, serving with the US Army in Europe, a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge No. 408, Erie Scottish Rite Consistory, Zem Zem Temple and Crawford County Shrine Club.

He was the past president of the Meadville Area Chamber of Commerce.

In addition to his wife, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Craig (Millicent) Woods of Wickcliffe, OH and Miss Nancy Harris of Washington DC; three sisters, Mrs. William (Phyllis) Burke of Plymouth, MI, Mrs. Bernard (Gladys) Beeman of Allen Park, MI and Miss Bernice Harris of Columbus, OH; two brothers, Nelson Harris of San Francisco, CA and Leon Harris of Dexter, MI; and a grandson.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
