Bernard E. Fuller, 86, of Saegertown, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at the Crawford County Care Center.
He was born September 11, 1933 in Weymouth, MA, a son of the late Charles Edward and Mary Elizabeth Bess Fuller. He married Ruth E. Dutton June 26, 1954 and she survives.
Bernard was a Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, serving in the U.S. Army for 22 years and retired as Lt. Colonel. Following retirement, he taught languages at the former Alliance College.
A member of Woodcock Presbyterian Church, Bernard was a former Boy Scout leader and recipient of the Silver Beaver award. He was an avid ham radio operator.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Ruth, include two daughters, Sherry Meabon (David) of Pittsburgh and Brenda Seth (Bill) of Waterford; five grandchildren, Jeromie, Jared, James, Meghan and Cassandra; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Cheryl Lynn Fuller of Maine; a brother, Kenneth Fuller of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are private with interment in Indiantown Gap National Military Cemetery.
