Bernard Edward (Bernie) Mook

Bernard Edward (Bernie) Mook, 79, of Conneaut, OH, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022.

He was born November 1, 1942 in Meadville, PA, a son of William Edward and Elmo Marie Carroll Mook.  He married Bonnie Lee Pardee November 1, 1999.

Bernie was a 1961 graduate of Saegertown High School.  He worked as a supervisor at Master Feed and Grain in Conneautville for over 45 years.  He was also owner and operator of McKean Feed Mill as well as owner and operator with his wife Bonnie of Mook’s West Road Auction.  Additionally he was a dairy farmer for many years.

Bernie enjoyed going to auctions, watching professional wrestling, and collecting John Deere memorabilia.  He cherished spending time with grandchildren, Renee, Brandy, and Ray on vacations to Tennessee.

Survivors, in addition to his loving wife Bonnie, include five children, Joey Mook (Sue) of Linesville, PA, John Mook (Tracy) of Bybee, TN, Joan Mook (Randy) of Meadville, PA, Ricky Loughner (Jessica) of Conneautville, PA, and Loretta Unger (Joseph) of Blacklick, OH; 22 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Charlotte Hall of
Saegertown; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Merle, Kenneth, Paul, James, Harold, and Arthur Mook and a sister, Shirley Smith.

Per Bernie’s wishes, no services are scheduled.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
