Bert E. Beuchat

Bert E. Beuchat, 89, of Guys Mills, died Sunday, February 24, 1963, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Hazel) Tanner of Guys Mills, after a long illness.

He was born at Guys Mills, a son of John and Clementine Rebrassier Beuchat, and was an uncle of the late John Beuchat of Meadville, county register and recorder.

Mr. Beuchat was a retired farmer, lumberman and highway worker.  He was married first to the late Marie Poly and subsequently to the late Audrey Hotchkiss.

Surviving, besides Mrs. Tanner, are another daughter, Mrs. Harry (Frances) Smith of Cambridge Springs; a son, Floyd J. of Meadville; a stepson John A. Sutton of Fort Wayne, IN; two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Britton of Guys Mills and Mrs. May Pease of Cochranton; a brother, Frank of Guys Mills; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery.
