Mrs. Bertha H. Tulloch, 79, of Meadville, died at her residence Tuesday, June 25, 1985, after a sudden illness.
She was born at Beechtree, Jefferson County, October 21, 1905, a daughter of the Rev. Roy F. and Clara Carr Howe. She married G. Kenneth Tulloch, January 1, 1935. He survives.
She was a graduate of Taylor University and was a mission teacher in Tennessee and later in Philadelphia. She taught English at the secondary level in public schools at Wooster and Meadville, retiring in 1971.
She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church, past president of the former Women's Scoiety for Christian Service at Titusville United Methodist Church and past president of the board of directors of Titusville YWCA.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three daughters, Clara Louise Kerr of McMurray, Carolyn Malcszewski of South Lyon, MI and Marilyn Whitaker, Brunswick, ME; a son, the Rev. G. Kenneth Tulloch, Jr. of Port Allegany; a sister, Gladys H. Rosengrant of Pasadena, CA; ten grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, John; a twin brother, the Rev. Albert C. Howe and a sister, Miriam Howe.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
