Mrs. Bertha M. Hart, 85, of Meadville, died Tuesday, March 21, 1961, at City Hospital after a long illness. She was the widow of Edmund Hart and made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Boulton.
Mrs. Hart was born March 14, 1876, in East Fairfield Township, a daughter of William and Sarah Ellen Byham Flaugh. She was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ.
Besides Mrs. Boulton, survivors include five other daughters, Mrs. Ruth Perry of Conneautville, Mrs. Thayer (Margaret) Moyer of Cochranton, Mrs. Vincent (Julia) Rew of Meadville, Mrs. Edna Spuadling of Meadville and Mrs. Clifford (Hazel) Powell of Linesville; three sons, Fred, Donald and William, all of Meadville; a brother, Fred Flaugh of Meadville; twenty-seven grandchildren and thirty-six great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
