Bertie V. Ridgeway

Bertie V. Ridgeway, 92, of Reno, NV and formerly of Meadville, died Tuesday, September 11, 1984, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Pauline Betleyoun of Reno, with whom she lived.

She was born at Cochranton, July 23, 1892, a daughter of Joseph and Josephine DuPont Consider.  She married Frank R. Ridgeway in 1963.  He preceded her in death.

She was retired from her job as switchboard operator at Meadville's City Hospital and was a member of Reno's Golden Age Club.

Survivors, in addition to a daughter, inlude a son, Edgar D. Shoffstall of Hamburg, NY; a step-daughter, Mrs. Irma Bowser of Canton, OH; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
