Bess Yost

Mrs. Bess Yost, wife of Frederick B. Yost, of Meadville, died Sunday, March 25, 1962, at her home after a long illness.

Mrs. Yost was born at Blooming Valley, a daughter of George and Mary Lupher Dickson.  She married Mr. Yost March 29, 1911.  She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and of its Episcopal Churchwomen's organization.  She was a past president of Section B of the church, serving for 20 years, and formerly was a member of Meadville Woman's Club and the auxiliaries of City and Spencer Hospitals.  She lived at Saegertown several years before moving to Meadville 43 years ago.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, F. Maurice Yost of Marion Station, Philadelphia; a sister, Miss Blanche Dickson of Meadville; a brother, Noel K. Dickson of Sioux City, IA and two grandchildren, Suzanne and Peter F. Yost.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
