Bethany Marie Klingensmith

Bethany Marie Klingensmith, 23, of Guys Mills, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021.

She was born March 20, 1998 in Meadville, a daughter of Wendy Klingensmith Oakes.

Bethany was a 2016 graduate of Maplewood High School where she played basketball and was a cheerleader.  She was employed as a home healthcare aide.  She was a member of St. Hippolyte Church and was an altar server.

Survivors include three children, Lillyona, Amillie, and Jafari Young; her parents, Wendy and James Oakes of Meadville; her grandmother, Joyce Tarr of Guys Mills; a brother, Ronald Klingensmith of Guys Mills; a sister, Kayla May Oakes of Clarion; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Clarence Tarr and her grandmother, Edith Klingensmith.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, March 27th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where the funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Fr. Andrew Boyd officiating.  The wearing of masks is required.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Hippolyte Church, 25997 State Hwy 27, Guys Mills, PA 16327.
