Betty J. Cowles

Betty J. Cowles, 87, of Meadville, died Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

She was born in Austinburg, OH, January 4, 1928 a daughter of Carl R. and Lillian H. Heinzman Walker.  She married Robert L. Cowles September 30, 1955 and he survives.

She was a homemaker and had worked before her marriage at Sylvania in Warren, OH.

She is survived by her husband Robert of 59 years of Meadville.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Schwan and Mary Calhoon.

A private family graveside service will be held in Foster Cemetery, Lander, PA.
