Betty J. Willey

Betty J. Willey, 73, of Meadville, died unexpectedly of natural causes Tuesday, June 6, 1995, at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born in New Richmond, July 6, 1921, a daughter of Don and Lillian Mitchell Danforth.

She worked as a nurses aid for sixteen years at Wesbury United Methodist Community and she was a member of Lyona Bible Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Theodore (Beverly) Decker of Greensboro, NC and Mrs. Joseph (Linda) Holobar of Meadville; two sons, James Willey and Danny Willey, both of Guys Mills; a sister, Mrs. Paul (Dorothy) Smith of Meadville; two brothers, Roy Danforth of Guys Mills and Clayton Danforth of Townville; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Lyona Cemetery.
