Betty J. Williams

Betty J. Williams, 93, formerly of Meadville and a resident of Erie, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023.

She was born August 21, 1929 in Meadville, a daughter of the late William and Isabelle Bartholomew McFadden.

Betty was a graduate of Meadville High School and Louise Sallinger School of Fashion, Pittsburgh.  She was the owner of Busy Bee Fabric and co-owner of Now and Then Gift Shop.  She retired from David’s Jewelers.

Betty enjoyed gardening and her beloved dog Buddy.

Survivors include two children, Cheryl Kindle of Erie and Robert Williams of Meadville; two grandchildren, Amanda Bowser (Erika) and Dakota Deal; and a great-grandchild, Remi Bowser.

Calling hour will be Thursday, February 16th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where the funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev. Sarah Roncolato, Pastor of Stone United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
