Betty Jo Eiler, 94, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community, passed away there Saturday, December 2, 2017. She was born July 15, 1923 in Sandy Lake, a daughter of Roy and Christine Nodler Minnis. She married George A. Eiler June 30, 1950 and he preceded her in death September 26, 2002. Betty Jo was a graduate of Sandy Lake High School and worked at Avtex for 42 years. She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church and formerly a member of the Meadville Womans Club and the Wesbury Sunset Auxiliary. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Val (Karen) Eiler, Ronni (Mary) Eiler, Monnie (Denny) Weston, Debby (Dr. Donald) Crumb, Kirk Minnis, David Minnis, and Kim (John) Snedeker; and a sister-in-law, Shirley Minnis. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester (Neva) and John Minnis and a sister, Virginia (Wally) Eiler. Services will be private at the ROBERT W.
