Betty Lou Stevens

Betty Lou Stevens, 55, of State Hwy 198, Guys Mills, died Monday, January 28, 2002 at her residence following a sudden illness.

She was born October 24, 1946 in Meadville, a son of Norman and Donna Hellyer Roxberry.  She married Lawrence H. Stevens, Jr. in May 1981 and he survives.

She was a graduate of Linesville High School and worked at DIC Tool for 18 years as a machine operator.  She especially enjoyed fishing.

She was of the Protestant faith.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her mother, Donna Roxberry of Linesville; one daughter, Christine Schreffler and her husband Dean of Meadville; one son, Ryan Stevens of Guys Mills; two stepsons, Casey Stevens and his wife Flora of Erie and Johnny Stevens of Charlotte, NC; one grandson, Garrett Schreffler; one sister, Beatrice Waring and her husband Brian of Orange Park, FL; one brother, Howard Roxberry and his wife Sandy of Saegertown; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her father.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
