Betty Louise Dworshak

March 1, 1920 — April 22, 2007

Betty Louise Dworshak, 87, of Beuchat Road, Guys Mills and a resident of the Crawford County Care Center, died there Sunday, April 22, 2007.

She was born in Fayette City March 1, 1920 a daughter of Frank and Cora Stephens Kinnear.  She married Mark J. Dworshak June 30, 1944 and he survives.

She grew up on a farm in Randolph Twp. and attended Guys Mills Schools.  She worked at Boyd’s Store in Guys Mills, the American Viscose Corp and retired as a school bus driver in 1985.  She also enjoyed her gardening.

Survivors, in addition to her husband of 62 years, include: one daughter, Melody Benson of Guys Mills; one grandson, Mark P. Benson of Guys Mills and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five sisters, Oleta Fordyce, Mary Kelley, Frances Baussman, Mildred Putnam and Josephine Kinnear and four brothers, Frank, Phillip, William Kinnear and an infant brother.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 1-3 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.  The funeral and committal service will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Temple Jarrell of First Church of God, officiating.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Crawford County Care Center, 20811 State Hwy. 198, Saegertown, PA 16433.
