Beverly Kay (Sissy) Bravinder, 43, of Blooming Valley, died Thursday, March 10, 1988, at Meadville Medical Center following an illness. of several months. She was born in Meadville, August 18, 1944, a daughter of Joseph P. and Virginia McCartney Vivian. She married Robert G. Bravinder on March 21, 1963. He survives. She worked briefly at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. as an office secretary. Her previous employment included: customer service representative at Wheeler Auto Supply; office secretary at Talon, and at Avis Rent-A-Car in Minnepolis. She was a member of Blooming Valley United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She was a 1962 graduate of Humbolt Airline Institute in Minnepolis. She served on Blooming Valley Election Board; was a volunteer with Crawford County Youth Hockey Assoc. and Saegertown Recreation Assoc.; was founder and former leader of the Bumblebees baton group of Blooming Valley; and was a volunteer fund raiser for the Cancer Society, Heart Assoc. and Scott Bidwell Fund. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Jennifer Kay Bravinder, and a son, Joseph Gordon Bravinder, both at home; her mother, Virginia Vivian of Blooming Valley; a sister, Linda Chatley of Saegertown; two brothers, Jack L. Vivian and Joseph L. Vivian, both of Blooming Valley; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home. Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
