Beverly L. Lojek

Beverly L. Lojek, 58, of Guys Mills, died Thursday, August 23, 2001 at Meadville Medical Center following a long term illness.

She was born in Guys Mills, December 8, 1942 a daughter of the late Robert L. and Sara M. Reed Smith.  She married Frank Lojek April 21, 1962.

She was a 1960 graduate of Randolph High School and retired in 2000 as the lead teacher at Saegertown Head Start after 27 years of service.  She was also a Past Worthy Matron of the Golden Crown Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years include; two daughters, Shelly Hyldahl (Martin) of Guys Mils and Tracey Echols (Dennis) of Townville; a sister, Bonnie Lenhart (Lester) of Guys Mills; two brothers, Harold Smith (Shirley) of Guys Mills and Ronald Smith (Karla) of Junction City, KS and four grandchildren, Jeremia Hyldahl, Sarirose Hyldahl, Alivia Hyldahl and Nichelle Echols.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph L. "Butch" Smith and a stepfather, J. O. Brown.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Radle Cemetery.
