Blanche M. Beuchat

Mrs. Blanche M. Beuchat, 85, of Guys Mills, mother of John R. Beuchat of Meadville, county register and recorder and county Republican Committee chairman, died Friday, June 15, 1962 at Spencer Hospital.

She had been ill about a month and had been hospitalized for three weeks.

Mrs. Beuchat was born in East Mead Township December 17, 1876, a daughter of Reuban and Margaret Gerdon Smith, and married Frank J. Beuchat September 12, 1899.

She formerly was a member of Guys Mills Methodist Church and Randolph Grange.

Surviving, besides her husband and son, are a brother, Martin A. Smith of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; a granddaughter, Mrs. Robert (Geraldine) Daniels of Franklin and three great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
