Blanche Walter

Mrs. Blanche Walter, 83, who had resided at Hillside Home since October 1962, died there Saturday evening August 21, 1971, after a long illness.

She was born in Woodcock Township, June 8, 1888, a daughter of George B. and Jennie Waid Eldridge.  She married Frank Fidelman in 1907.  He died in 1942.  In 1945, she married Frank E. Walter who died in 1955.  Mrs. Walter was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include two stepdaughters, Mrs. Charles (Mabel) Byham of Cuba, NY and Mrs. Myron (Hazel) Bogardus of Meadville; several nieces, nephews and cousins and ten step-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
