Boneita M. Gordon

Boneita M. Gordon, 90, of Meadville, died Saturday, June 20, 1998 at Wesbury United Methodist Community, Meadville, following a period of declining health.

She was born in Corry, April 23, 1908, a daughter of George H. and Nellie Alice Brown Gordon.  She never married.

She received her BS in Education for Indiana State Teachers College, Indiana, PA in 1928 and she taught in the Pubic Schools of Edinboro, Linesville and Waterford for 28 years.

Survivors include a brother, George Gordon of Mentor, OH; two sisters, Jeanette Shipman of Hudson, OH and Idabelle Anthony of Englewood, FL and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Oscar Gordon.

Services were held with the Waid Funeral Home.
