Bonita Sue Pollard

Bonita Sue (Bonnie) Pollard, 40, of Meadville, died April 26, 1996 at Meadville Medical Center following a two month illness.

She was born March 26, 1956 in Randolph Township, a daughter of the late Lester and Dorothy Boyle Lewis.  She married Robert Pollard, Sr., March 20, 1984.  He survives.

Mrs. Pollard was a 1974 graduate of Randolph High School.  She was a Veterinary assistant in the US Army for 3 years serving at West Point.  She subsequently served in the US Navy for four years.  She was a homemaker and had been a member of the former Congregational Church of Guys Mills.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include one daughter, Emily Pollard and one son, Robbie Pollard, both at home; one brother, Robert Lewis of Mercer; five sisters, Janice Jacklett of Guys Mills, Nancy Shaw of Cooperstown, Sara Rollick of St. Mary's, Nora Lewis of Titusville and Bethany Thompson of Pittsburgh and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by four brothers, Gordon, James, Richard and David Lewis.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
