Bonnie L. Beers

Bonnie L. Beers, 68, of Conneaut Lake, died Friday, July 2, 2010 at home following a sudden illness.

She was born in Albion March 5, 1942, a daughter of the late Glenn and Lydia Snyder Taylor.  She married Ralph R. Beers October 16, 1971.

Bonnie was a 1960 graduate of Northwestern High School, Albion and was the owner and operator of Bonnie Bell Beauty Salon on Rt. 19, Meadville and subsequently in Conneaut Lake, for 34 years.  She previously worked at the Golden Dawn, Albion, Blazon, Linesville and Channellock.

She attended Reash Community Church, Cochranton and was a member of the Harmonsburg Women’s Club and Summit Township Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary.  She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed baking and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors, in addition to her loving husband Ralph of 38 years, include a daughter, April Sabo and her husband Jack of Conneaut, OH; 3 grandchildren, Jacob, Alivia and Joshua Sabo; 4 sisters, Teresa Heaton of Edinboro, Freida Daugherty of West Springfield, Janice Payne of West Springfield, and Rita Huya of Houston, TX; 4 brothers, Ronald Taylor of East Springfield, Gordon Taylor and his wife Madolyn of West Springfield, Loren Taylor and his wife Joann of Albion, and Lawrence Taylor and his wife Kathy of Jamestown; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Milford Taylor.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake.

The funeral and committal service will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Keeling, Pastor of Reash Community Church officiating.

Interment will be in Foust Cemetery, Conneaut Lake.
