Bonnie L. Shaulis, 67, of Meadville, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.
She was born in Erie December 21, 1946 a daughter of Francis and Violet Comber Andrews. She married Frederick E. Shaulis June 18, 1966 and he preceded her in death August 7, 2011.
She was a graduate of Union City High School and worked for many years as a Crossing Guard in Meadville at the corner of Park Avenue and Willow Street. She loved cats, a cold Diet Coke and spending time with her friends at Holland Towers.
She is survived by two sons, Terry Shaulis and his wife Amy of Meadville and Rick Shaulis and his wife Diana of Washington, PA; a sister, Mary; a step-sister, Robin Washok and her husband John of Cochranton; 8 grandchildren, Ashleigh, Stephanie, Cole, Cody, Kelsey, Cameron, Shaelynn and Brandon and 4 great grandchildren, Kiley, Makenzie, Taylor and Lyndon.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 12 – 2 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.
The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Philip Torre, Pastor of First Assembly of God Church, officiating.
