Brandon Dean Corey, 47, of Meadville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 22, 2022.
He was born March 14, 1975 in Meadville, a son of Frederick L. and Linda I. Hall Corey.
Brandon was a 1993 graduate of Meadville High School where he was a member of the Meadville Bulldog Hockey team and was a two-time state champion in 1992 and 1993. He was a life-long supporter of Bulldog Hockey. He also excelled in tennis as a member of the Meadville Tennis team. Brandon was loved and appreciated by his friends and teammates who loved and appreciated his quick wit and locker room pranks. He will be sorely missed by not only his family, but by so many friends he made along the way.
Brandon attended Western New England University, and Penn State University where he played club hockey.
He worked at the Boot Box, Superior Toyota in Erie, Ranz Bar and Grill, and for various online companies in sales and marketing.
Survivors include his father, Frederick Corey of Meadville; three brothers, Robert Corey (Desiree) of Meadville, Jameson Corey (Dawn) of Meadville; and Benjamin Corey (Tammy) of Cochranton; nephews and nieces, Kyle, Anya, Aleks, and Brandon Corey; aunts; uncles; cousins; and his beloved dog Crosby.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A Celebration of Brandon’s life will be held in 2023 at a date and time to be announced.
