Brian Douglas Langdon, DVM, 63, of Meadville died Monday, September 26, 2016 in Stow, OH at his sister’s home where he had recently been residing.

He was born in Meadville January 3, 1953 a son of Dr. Arthur Mills and Anne Kennedy Langdon.  He was a 1971 graduate of Meadville High School, a 1976 graduate of Edinboro University and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine.  He owned and operated Langdon’s Town & Country Veterinary Clinic here in Meadville for many years.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed bicycling, hunting, fishing and camping.

He is survived by a sister, Heather Carlson and her husband Larry of Stow, OH and their children, Vanessa A. Letera and her husband Matthew of Stow, OH (and their children, Molly, Jake and Rylie), Jeffrey R. Carlson and his wife Kelly of Cincinnati, OH and Natalie J. Marignoni and her husband Matthew of Munroe Falls, OH; a brother, A. Kennedy Langdon of Coconut Creek, FL and his children, Elizabeth A. Langdon of Dallas, TX, Christopher J. Langdon of Coconut Creek, FL and Jeremy T. Langdon of Coconut Creek, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling hours will be Friday, October 7th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville.

The funeral service will be Saturday, October 8th at 10:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 890 Liberty Street, Meadville with the Rev. Dr. Brian K. Jensen, Pastor, officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
