Bruce W. Sutley

Bruce W. Sutley, 27, died Monday, April 12, 1976, from injuries received in a one-car accident in Kittanning Township in Armstrong County.

He was born in Meadville on March 4, 1949, a son of Lester G. and Dorothy Beddick Sutley.  He married Theresa (Teri) Prettyman on February 12, 1972.

Mr. Sutley was employed as a civil engineer by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the Department of Environmental Resources, Ebensburg office.  He was a 1967 graduate of Meadville High School and received a bachelor of science degree in engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 1971.  He had been active in scouting and was a charter member of the DeMolay Chapter in Meadville.

Survivors include his widow of Meadville; his parents of Guys Mills; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Beddick of Orlando, FL; two brothers, Lester G., Jr. of Wheaton, IL and Kerry A. of Guys Mills and three nieces.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
