Burton L. Freyermuth

Burton L. Freyermuth, 74, of Meadville, died at City Hospital Thursday, September 29, 1983, after an extended illness.

He was born in East Fairfield Township, May 30, 1909, a son of Lewis and Roberta Herrington Freyermuth.  He married Helen Pattison, June 9, 1934.  He was employed for 30 years with Sealtest Dairy Co. and reitred in 1972 after working for five years in the maintenance department at Allegheny College.  He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, American Assn. of Retired Persons and Junior OUAM.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Bennett of Colorado Springs, CO and Edwin of San Francisco, CA; a sister, Mrs. Ida Smith of Elkin, NC; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

A half brother and two half sisters preceded him in death.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
