C. Howard Walton

C. Howard Walton, 8, of Wayland, died last night at City Hospital from head injuries he received after falling from his bike into a creek bed near his home yesterday.

Howard had completed the third grade at Wayland School and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church School.

He was born in Meadville, November 2, 1949, a son of Charles B. and Mildred Dearborn Walton.

Besides his parents, survivors include his maternal grandfather, Warren Dearborn of Hayfield; four brothers, William of Meadville, Jerry, Harold and Clyde, at home and several aunts and uncles.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Wayland Cemetery
