Cameron L. Shaulis

Cameron L. Shaulis, 23, of Conneautville, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014.

He was born October 19, 1990 in Meadville, a son of Rick Shaulis and Helen Coy Shaulis.

Cameron attended Linesville High School.  He worked at Gillette Construction Company, Linesville and also loved working on the Blossom Vall Farm.  Cameron was a dedicated member of the Summit Township Volunteer Fire Department where he served as assistant chief.  He was also a member of the Conneaut Lake Park Volunteer Fire Department Station 5 RIT team.

Cameron enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt bike racing, camping, and doing anything outdoors.  He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always willing to help anyone.

Survivors include his mother, Helen Shaulis and her fiancé Bill Brooks of Conneaut Lake; his father, Rick Shaulis and his wife Diana of Washington, PA; a brother, Cody Shaulis and his wife Erica of Meadville; a sister, Kelsey Shaulis of Jacksonville, NC; his maternal grandmother, Darlene Gilmore of Linesville; his girlfriend, Taylor Lener of Conneautville; two uncles, Terry Shaulis and his wife Amy of Meadville and Doug Wachowiak and his wife Melissa of Grove City; two nieces, Makenzie and Kiley Shaulis; four cousins, Ashleigh, Stephanie, and Cole Shaulis, and Misty Eastlick; and many friends including those at the Summit Township Volunteer Fire Department and especially his close friend and mentor Gig King.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frederick and Bonnie Shaulis.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, 12422 Conneaut Lake Rd., Conneaut Lake.

The funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dave Acker, retired United Methodist Clergyman, officiating.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Summit Township Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 51, Harmonsburg, PA 16422.
