Carey J. Beddick, 100, of 25593 State Highway #27, Guys Mills, died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born in Triadelphia, WV, March 5, 1904, a daughter of John W. and Rosa M. McCutcheon Farmer.  She married John J. Beddick Dec. 3, 1920, and he preceded her in death Feb. 3, 1983.

She had been employed at Talon Plant #7 as a machine operator retiring in 1969 after 27 years of service.

She was a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, had been an active bowler up until age 97, enjoyed bicycle riding and gardening.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Dorothy Sutley of Guys Mills, 1 son, John J. Beddick, III, of Lehigh Acres, FL, 3 grandchildren, Lester (Skip) Sutley, Jr., Kerry Sutley, and John J. Beddick, IV, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 brother, John W. Farmer of Valley Grove, WV.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Fern Radovich, and Nancy Cirelli, 3 brothers, Hector, Miles, and Claude Farmer, 1 grandson, Bruce Sutley, and 1 great granddaughter.

There are no calling hours.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Officiating will be the Rev. Alice McClymonds, pastor of Faith United Methodist Church of Geneva.

Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
